If you ever thought of contributing to a greater cause, but didn’t know where best to invest your time, skills, and desire to help others, this upcoming THRIVE event might be right for you.
Along with Lenovo, appliedAIstudio remembers Dr. Peter Scott-Morgan by building technology that enables people with severe disabilities to not just survive, but to THRIVE! Through this Buildathon, which runs December 6th thru December 12th of 2022, they have created a flexible schedule, which allows participants to work around their busy schedules. You will be assigned to a small team based on your area of interest and expertise. This will be run virtually, so no need to travel.
While the emphasis is on designing adaptive solutions leveraging AI (artificial intelligence) and other leading technologies to create solutions that improve the lives of those with severe disabilities and special needs, please don’t feel you can’t contribute unless you have a deep technical background. The team also seeks people with ideas; anyone who is determined to make a difference!
A word about The Scott-Morgan Foundation
The Scott-Morgan Foundation is at the center of this worthy project, and was created to continue the late Dr. Peter Scott-Morgan’s passion to help others overcome severe disabilities through the use of adaptive technologies. His story is quite amazing.
