Please join the My Special Place Board for a Parent/Caregiver Forum & Housing Update
When: Thursday, June 5 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Eisenhower Recreation Center.
The Forum will be hosted by the Social Club for Special Guys & Gals in the Arnold & McArthur rooms. Villages ID required.
When: Thursday, June 19 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Lake Miona Recreation Center.
The Forum will be hosted by John Langan during his monthly AACID meeting. Open to the public.
**Both forums will be the same agenda; you are welcome to attend either or both**
My Special Place has recently been re-energized with an expanded Board and renewed determination to realize our dream to develop and establish safe and high-quality residential housing options for individuals with intellectual and development disabilities in The Villages and surrounding communities.
The Forum will provide an update on our mission and how you can help. It’s an excellent opportunity for you to share ideas as we seek input regarding the needs of your special loved one.
