22 May Neuralink’s first brain chip recipient inspires hope for others
Noland Arbaugh, a 30-year-old quadriplegic man who opted to become the first human to receive Elon Musk’s Neuralink brain implant chip called “The Link”, spoke recently with Chris Cuomo how the pioneering technology has changed his life.
Back in May 2022, I published an article (click here) about Neuralink and Musk’s ambitious goals for drastically improving lives of those with severe disabilities. At the time, I was a bit skeptical of the technology but remained hopeful.
Hearing firsthand from young Noland Arbaugh as he shared his experience with the brain chip raised my optimism level significantly. I encourage you to tune into this 5 1/2 minute interview between Chris Cuomo and Noland. I’d be interested to hear your thoughts about the conversation and the potential for other future recipients.
